Local Lit @ Lotta romance header-02

Bring a friend and join us Tuesday, February 4th for a night of romance presented by Local Lit @ LOTTA!

Local authors Bethany J. Miller and Tara L. Roí will read excerpts from their forthcoming romance novels. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the books directly from the authors.

Bethany J. Miller lives in Connecticut with her husband, their children, and their dog. She loves being immersed in nature, doing science experiments and art projects with her kids, and she loves to bake. She spends most of her free time exploring relationships between people by writing realistic romance novels.
She will read from Sunshine Daydream, a romance novel set in rural Vermont. What happens when a follower of the Grateful Dead and an uptight lawyer who comes to town to bail his deadhead brother out of jail meet?   Click here to visit Bethany’s website.

A former journalist and digital nomad, Tara L. Roí currently resides in New England where she writes novels about her two obsessions: love and climate change.  In her years as a journalist, she covered environmental issues, including climate change, agriculture, landmine and UXO pollution, and electronic waste management.  The author also published a historical novel and a nonfiction book about climate change, using her real name. (hint: you’ll recognize the author when you see her!)

She will read from For the Birds, the first of many climate-smart romances that will be published under the pen name Tara L. Roí. Set in a fictional town on the Delaware Bay, For the Birds is a story of passion, activism, and the power within each of us to make a difference.  Click here to learn more about Tara L. Roí.

The next Local Lit @ LOTTA will occur Tuesday, February 4th at 7 PM on The Range at LOTTA Studio, 911 Whalley Avenue, New Haven 06515. A suggested donation of $5-$10 helps maintain the series as a thread in the tapestry of arts events in New Haven.
